Hovely Soccer Park

About the Project
Welcome to the Hovley Soccer Park Improvements project page. The City of Palm Desert is planning targeted upgrades to keep the park safe, comfortable, and functional. The work includes re-leveling and re-sodding the soccer fields, repairs across the site, a new children’s playground, and a refresh of the landscaping.

Current Park Features
Hovley Soccer Park today offers multiple soccer fields, a children’s play area, a concession building with a snack bar and restrooms, horseshoe games, a perimeter trail, parking, disc golf baskets, shelters, and BBQ stands.

This outreach focuses on ensuring that we obtain feedback from the public that helps us understand how we can best improve this park. We’d like to hear your thoughts on a few important topics. Are there enough shaded areas and places to sit? Do you feel safe, especially at night, and is there enough lighting? Is the park easy for everyone to use, including children, older adults, and people with disabilities? How do you feel about the health of the landscape and the way water is used? And finally, are there any other features or improvements you think we should consider, depending on available space and budget?
